A Colorful and Robust Rock Release from Tower Harratz

An album release from Tower Harratz gives off the undertone of a cross between classic and thriving punk rock, with a more clean and bright pop rock and the combination of those two creates a colorful but edgy soundscape that's delivered with massive character, and this is a huge part of what you get addicted to throughout this record.

The If We Can't Redistribute the Wealth, We'll Redistribute the Anxiety album is definitely a massive record and covers a lot of ground in terms of a blistering and brutally honest indie rock approach, but it works with a certain kind of charm.

This record ends up bringing in elements of jazz and more into the mix including classic rock as well with these big and anthemic choruses at times but all in all, there's a certain sort of grittiness in a way and that comes through in a lot of these tracks but it's part of what makes the whole feel of the band so robust.

Being able to deliver lyrics with that much personality and honesty is really unique so, the vocals are quite animated at times, and this helps the band sort of push the envelope in a particular kind of loose manner that makes them unique.

A lot of these songs rock out and do so with an energy level that feels like you're watching a live performance and the players that are involved are just feeding off of each other's energies the entire time and this gives the songs the feeling of being alive and breathing.

This is a big part of their soundscape because that electric energy is part of what gives the band an added drive they need to push the envelope.

Perhaps some, or all of these songs were actually recorded live on the floor. I'm not sure about that of course, but I can tell you that listening to this record certainly makes you want to go see them live. If that kind of energy is captured on record, then seeing them in your face must be awesome.

This was a very robust and full-bodied rock album that has a little bit of eclectic style in the songwriting, but there's also a glue that holds it all together and lets the songs feel very confluent.

This is the type of album that you listen to from beginning to end because if you only listen to one or two tracks sure, you might get a little bit of a feel for how some of the songs sound but you're not getting anywhere near the full spectrum of what the album actually has to offer.

One of the things I really love about this record is that some of the choruses are full-on, fists-in-the-air sing-alongs and you will find yourself singing along to some of these hooks by the second or third time around.

This blend of pop and melodic style punk rock hits all the sweet spots and more and they do this with their own particular charm which is really what makes it work so well.

A very unique approach but with an impactful end game, this release packs a punch in the most fun ways possible.

Dive into this one as soon as you get a chance and don't be afraid to turn it nice and loud.
