A New Single from JD Hinton Feels Good

JD Hinton just released a brand-new track that takes a southern and Americana approach but also lends a hand to classic rock and a lot of ways and even rockabilly at times, especially with that raw energy that's given throughout the song.

The track is called "Your Him" and comes with this unbelievable classic Americana and country groove and swing that is very enticing and starts to make your body just move along with everything automatically.

Performance to be honest. The performance has a bit of a grittiness to it and it makes you imagine in your head what it would be like to see it alive which is really fun because you have a song that gives off such a vivacious sort of style and approach that it causes visuals to pop into your head which is amazing.

There's something about this track that makes me think of old school Elvis songs as well and when you listen to the song you picture your hips moving back and forth because it just has that rhythm and that vibe to it. That you cling to, and I think the whole performance aspect of the song is really what drives it because that's the part of it that's really nailed.

This track has a bit of an old soul vibe to it as well and I quite enjoyed that because the song itself takes a little bit of an edgy or rock tone and blends it into that country in Americana really well so that no part of it really overrides the other.

It's not overwhelmingly Americana nor country, nor rock. Instead, it's a perfectly balanced song between those three genres if you ask me and it has some great and original drive to it.

This is super fun, and you can certainly dance to it to the point where it actually makes you want to go out and dance to it. Especially in Texas for example.

It's a juicy track and it has a vibrant performance not only by the vocals which are really done with a character but also with the guitars.

The guitars really drive in and nail that rhythm so that it keeps everything moving and the drums push that even more so while the vocals sit on top of all of that and bounce in between those rhythms so you have a track that really feels good to listen to.

It seems like this would have been a really fun song to track for JD. He probably had a ball in the studio just laying this out vocal and guitar wise as well, I'm sure.

Now, JD Hinton is an artist, songwriter, and composer who has worked on everything from major films out of Hollywood and has played to sold out shows in some of the biggest and most classic venues of LA and more.

On his Spotify page you can listen to records dating back to 2014 and if you go forward from there, you'll hear a slew of material that really gives you a good example of his many influences for songwriting which are not all country or Americana, and how he differentiates what he's doing for different projects.

JD Hinton is an all-around, real musician who picks up projects and adapts himself in his songwriting to that project along with releasing his own original stuff for the sake of doing it.

Check out the single and some of JD's previous stuff as well.
