A Refreshing and Youthful Video from Fiona Grey

Updated: 7 days ago

A new video release from Fiona Grey gives off a youthful cry out in the form of an anthemic and edgy but still bright and colorful pop vibe that really hits with a unique gusto and enthusiasm that gives Fiona such a fun and freeing presence.

The song is called "Call Me Daisy," and this track has the feel of someone breaking out of their shell because the song is, in a lot of ways, about the reinvention of herself. When you listen to it, you can soak in that meaning very quickly, so it becomes pretty relatable for any of us who have felt like that or been through that stage of Life.

The video and song both represent a carefree sort of vibe where it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, she's going to be who she wants to be and she's going to do it the way she wants to do it.

That aspect of the song comes through with a punch and a great attitude because it does have that rough around the edges sort of style where again, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, but it also has a sort of purity to it as well that combines with it.

The purity part is more like innocence. She's going out there to have fun and she's being in your face about it but it is also in a very positive manner so, it feels good to listen to nice and loud because this is indeed like an anthem for this part of her life.

Again, anyone who's been through this might feel like this could have been part of the soundtrack to that chapter in their own lives and that is where the connection is made.

It's quite a brilliant connection to be made in general and I think that's because Fiona puts it out there so that it comes across perfectly and properly. She's giving it her all and she's not letting go, she's just doing things the way she wants to finally. Like she's been waiting for this for a long time and now this song is the premise for her newfound freedom so to speak.

That sentiment is very addictive, and it helps the song feel bright, poppy, bouncy, and impactful.

Everything about this track has a great pop overtone and the video showcases a lot of her personality as she and a friend go out and hit the town.

An excellent party anthem if I do say so myself, this single really hits just right and has a way of re-energizing you.

One of the reasons that the music video fits the song so well is because it amplifies that sense of breaking free and reinvention. That carefree and intense energy is a huge factor in why the song comes through the way it was meant to.

You have some great keys and a classic beat that beckons a little bit of a disco-pop vibe, some great guitar work in there as well, and all of it comes together to build something that feels good to listen to and even better to dance to.

This ends up being quite a sing-along type of track and one of the best ways to hear it for the first time is indeed by watching this music video.

Between the music and the video, you get a sort of double whammy of this unique energy and this freedom, and it feels amazing.

When it's over you feel happy for her because she's so enthusiastic and vibrant about the entire thing.

Check out the music video as we popped it below for your viewing pleasure and you'll see exactly what I mean.
