A Vast new Rock Single from LetsBeAstronauts

A new single from LetsBeAstronauts brings out a vast rock soundscape in the form of indie and progressive mixed together to create this sort of atmosphere that you end up falling right into and it has such a robust character attached to it that you end up in golfed in everything from the lyrics to the music.

"Surgery from a Doctor with Broken Hands" is the type of song that came from someplace authentic because you can tell that it's got a massive amount of emotional drive behind it which helps push the song to where it needs to be because the vocals are like this cry out in a way, and the music follows suit with the same level of intensity so between the music and the vocals everything has a way of complimenting each other nearly perfectly.

There's a lot about this track that brings out a slightly nostalgic feel for me who grew up listening to underground rock bands in the late 90s and even early 2000s and these guys managed to capture that sort of aesthetic really well which is a blend of emo, garage rock, indie rock, progressive rock, and even a little bit of alternative in there as well.

Throughout the track you get a sort of blending of textures that helps the build to those bigger climaxes and it's a crazy blend of a sort of color and personality with an edginess that creates that huge and expansive sound.

Every one of these elements plays a big part in how the song can feed into you and you do find yourself paying attention to the lyrics and being moved by the almost orchestral-sounding rock that this brings out.

And I only say words like orchestral because a lot is going on in the song in terms of having a big sonic presence and a very smart arrangement, two things that in combination, create something that's moving and, again, quite intense when it wants to be.

There is a sort of gracefulness to this song because it washes over you and you eventually get washed away right along with it but while it's happening the song feels any empty space that surrounds you and swims through the air so that you end up becoming attached to the whole feel and vibe that it gives off.

The guitar tones are damn near perfect and everything in terms of how the song is balanced dynamically is extremely well built and put together with a lot of attention to detail but even with all of that, the song most importantly never loses that character that it starts off with.

I think this is something that I've missed in a lot of different kinds of music. A personality and character that you can latch onto and relate with which is really important with a song that has emotional bounds like this one does.

The track does come with a sort of avant-garde and outside-the-box music video that somehow delivers a different side of the portrayal of what the song is about and shows a little bit more of that gracefulness in the form of visuals that are stimulating to the eye along with having some of that emotional draw as well.

I really enjoyed everything about this song and the video also mainly because it was sort of an escape because, when you listen to this track it has a way of pulling you away from your surroundings and putting you in a different place altogether which in my opinion, is sort of a gift in music.

Definitely take a deep dive into this track when you get a chance and do it with headphones on so you can really hear some of the lyrical content and get engulfed in all the things that are happening musically because it's quite an atmosphere.
