An Authentic and Catchy Single from ARREN

A new single from ARREN has a very warm and welcoming kind of rock approach as it blends elements of classic rock, pop rock, indie rock, and more and rolls all that up into one single that carries with it a sense of nostalgia and a strange way but in turn has this personality that you end up really loving by the end of the song.

"Dreams We Missed" is the track that a lot of us can relate to and the way that it's put together lyrically makes perfect sense as it's laid out in a way that lets you understand that it's okay to try and change course.

Chasing dreams and aiming for a certain kind of life or lifestyle is everyone's choice and everyone's right but this track is more about leaving a home and going to some place new so that you can take aim at something that you really want and going on that journey and trying is really the point.

If you never left and never tried, you might have more regret than trying and then turning back around in the end.

All of this is a part of how your own story unfolds and a lot of people can relate to this topic especially me.

Now, this was put together in such a sort of personal sense that you're able to insert your own memories into some of these lines and that's something that comes through very connective.

One of my favorite aspects about this track is that youthful sort of cry out that it has. The song is about being young and going for your dreams and the experience of actually just going for it in general.

Along with that vibe, the music really has the same aesthetic and so the whole track really works wonders in terms of feeling kind of cinematic in a way and speaking for a whole generation of people.

I myself actually traveled from the east coast to the west coast on a train which both are mentioned in the very beginning of the track.

I really just love the way this thing was put together and the whole sentiment of it because I don't really remember listening to a song that had that little bit of emotional drive and so much upfront honesty being about the sense of just trying to go for your dreams and being able to capture that sort of nostalgic spirit of it all.

And I think that's what this is. It's a spirited track and you can feel that in your bones, so it really unravels in such a warm way that you end up just feeling connected to it like I mentioned earlier.

There's some great guitar work on this track including a bunch of harmonies floating through the background and the arrangement of the track works wonders for its progressive approach as well.

All in all, this is a pop rock single that's got a lot of heart and that to me, is kind of a rarity these days so when you come across it it's quite refreshing.

Listening to this track is actually rejuvenating in a way. It brought me back to my own roots and I feel like it will for others as well.

This was an awesome track from abandon definitely going to be paying more attention to from here on out and I think that you should not only check this track out but go through some of their other releases because there is actually a few other tracks and an EP from 2021 that's really good as well and if you listen to those you can really hear the progression and evolution of the song writing approach.

The funny thing is, I think that this is just one person. I think that this band is actually one artist as opposed to a full band that's able to actually put together these songs in full whether or not he is a multi-instrumentalist and how much of it he actually performs I'm not sure, but it's pretty amazing to be able to put a song together from scratch the way that he does.

This is especially true because of the energy that's portrayed as well. It almost feels like a live performance or as if the song was recorded by multiple people live on the floor at one time.

The energy is captured with the aesthetic of this track and that helps it really work.

An excellent track that you should definitely check out with headphones on because then you could really pick up on all the things the track has to offer.

See what this does for you.
