If you're not yet too familiar with the sounds of Elstow, then let us introduce you to them with their latest video premiering right here at Recording Artists Guild.
The video is for a single called "Just Alive" which delves into a dream-like contemporary 90's alternative pop approach and leaves room for thick laid and swarming keys that come in with a gorgeous and psychedelic hook as the vocals give buoyant and rolling tones.
"Just Alive," is a standout track from Elstow's The Electric Ocean album, offers a glimpse into the duo's atmospheric and ambient journey. With a slightly haunting, slow-building soundscape, the track pulses and flows.

The duo can craft charged atmospheres, laying the foundation for the album's broader exploration of isolation, connection, and religion.
“Saying goodbye to god has been a long and slow process, a difficult and tragic one." - Jared Shaw (Estlow)
"Just Alive" exemplifies the album's approach to ambient and dream-like exploration while hinting at the grandeur yet to come. This was a beautiful production technique pushes certain boundaries of sound.
With "Just Alive," Shaw and his musical partner build a place where emotional and sonic presence can collide in some of the best ways you can think of.
The rest of the album keeps to this but breaks a few more boundaries in the process while keeping true to its messaging.
Have a look at the music video and listen to plenty more from The Electric Ocean on Spotify, or our personal favorite, Bandcamp. You can learn more about the project on Instagram or Facebook as well.
