An invasively fun and incredibly danceable funk soul banger from Lexsoul Dancemachine and Yasmin delivers an insanely infectious Groove and along with it comes color, character, and a wonderful blend of genres and instrumentation taking almost vintage '80s synths and a classic '70s disco funk approach along with soulful R&B style vocals and bringing it all together to create a massive pop Soul atmosphere that you simply do not want to leave.
"All Night Long" gives me endless bouts of nostalgia and the song delivers a hook that's so memorable, it bounces around in your head for hours after the song is ended and the only way to satiate that is to listen to it again.
The energy on this track feels electric almost like you're watching a live performance and listening to the song makes you want to go see them perform it live right in your face.
The vocals are smooth but bountiful and all the key work and bass have an amazing way of giving the song that extra drive that it needs to push the envelope so that it ends up exactly where it needs to be.
There is no way possible that you can listen to the song without moving your body. If you're driving, you'll be shaking your butt in your seat, if you're at home than just go ahead and move the couch back so that you have enough space to create a dance floor because that is how the song affects you. You start moving, you start grooving, and you even start singing along by the third chorus in.
This was a really good time, and you can tell that everyone involved was having a blast as well which is something that shines brightly during this track.
There are so many wonderful textures on top of each other that give the song a full-bodied feel, but that groove is the heaviest aspect of it all.
The percussion is outstanding and is super in the pocket but also so alive at the same time and just about every element of this track has a way of complimenting each other from the guitars to the keys, to the baselines, everything really comes together seamlessly but with this burst of joyous undertone.
Lexsoul Dancemachine there's a six-man outfit that has been around since 2013 but didn't release their self-titled debut album until 2015 and it started to give you a glimpse into what these guys are all about.
Since then, the band had had went on to release numerous albums, singles, and even eps with "All Night Long" being the latest in the batch.
It's rare to come across a band that delivers such a genuine and vivacious funk and it is certainly a kind of music that I have missed for a long time.
There is a certain purity to this track, and it comes from a group of people that have an absolute love for their craft which is putting out songs that make people want to dance hence their name.
Pop this song on as soon as you can, don't be afraid to turn it loud and once again, make some room to dance because you'll need it.
While you're at it, take a deep dive into their back catalog because it's incredibly fun and there is plenty to listen to.
As a matter of fact, if you wanted to, you could probably spend the whole day listening to this group and if you did, it would set your day to a certain tone.
Listening to this single in particular in the morning, made my day great. Those vibes are just infectious.
