Hailing from Michigan, Loralee began writing music in her college years at Michigan State University. A member of a musical family, she spent many years learning the flute and dabbling in musical pursuits before finding her calling in songwriting. In 2011, a love of folk music drew her to pick up an acoustic guitar and write her very first song "Little Dynamite". The first of many, it spurred a drive to continue on. In 2015 Loralee released her first EP "If You Were a Song"- a short collection of quirky and imaginative pieces. After the release, she continued to play and promote her music at local open mics and venues. In 2016 she began teaching music lessons at a local school which led to a new passion in teaching. After a long hiatus, Loralee is back, bringing a fresh entry into the bedroom-pop scene. With a calming voice, and a knack for lyrical prose, her music spins tales of hope, loss and pushing through the dark. Her new single "Seasick" off her upcoming album is out now!
