During my childhood, I studied and played piano for eight years and 2nd violin for six years, playing in various orchestras. It wasn't until my 40s that I picked up an electric guitar for the first time. I haven't looked back since. Equipped with Suno.AI and other tools, I've been writing music that I never imagined could come to life when I was younger. My hope is to become a successful writer. My songwriting started while I was in the hospital after a major surgery in Oct 2024. I was in so much physical pain that I needed something to distract from that. I took to writing music. These songs are a large part of that healing process, not only from surgery but from life's bumps and bruises. I grew up listening to the radio and wanting to be with the music so much that I joined a local radio station as a DJ for 12 years. From that experience and from being taught how to play music myself, I grew in my appreciation of music and how it flows. Getting on Groover has really boosted my self-confidence in my ability to make music. I love hearing everyone's opinions of the music and how it impacts them. It helps me become a better artist overall. This is not something where I throw in a prompt and the music comes out. It's hours of work getting the lyrics just right, then setting up the AI to write the correct genre, tempo, instrumentation, and key for the song. It's a lot of work. While I'm making it perfectly clear that I use AI in the performance, it is the work that I put into it that brings everything to life.
