The Music of Producer and keyboardist Sean Grinsell

Listening to R is for Redemption feels like we’ve stepped into something intentionally different—something that challenges the usual path and gives us a new way to experience rock through the lens of keys.

The way Sean Grinsell blends progressive songwriting with synths and piano-driven melodies is one of the first things that caught our attention. It's not just a stylistic choice; it's a bold move that reshapes the pull of each track. We feel the influence of rock, sure—but it's filtered through a different lens that gives the whole record its own voice.

As we move through the EP, it's clear how much care and thought went into it. Sean isn’t just writing songs—he’s crafting them. Each track, from Rouge to Refraction, feels like it was designed to bring us somewhere distinct.

Now that it’s out on Spotify, Bandcamp, and everywhere else, we get to sit with it, revisit it, and let it resonate in new ways each time. R is for Redemption invites us to listen closely—to notice the textures, the dynamics, the shifts in energy.
