Origin Music Publishing and Recording is an Australian label that has been around since the 1990s and covers so much ground in terms of an eclectic set of artists and releases that they have dropped throughout the years.
From the Australian Art Orchestra along with award-winning jazz releases and composers, the label has dabbled in making sure they feature a wide range of innovative and classic approaches in terms of their roster of releases.
With such an incredible range of music, you can spend days listening through the labels releases and you always find something new, refreshing, and eclectic. This is one of the things that I love about this label.
They don't have a lot of walls built around them in terms of who they want to work with as long as the music is good and fits the bill. These guys really know how to help push artists out there and give them new audiences in multiple countries. One of our favorites is Simon Horn's "Nova Days" which is just one example of the electronic, side of things but the track features a lot of subgenres that blend into the mix as well.
Origin Recordings has figured out such an outstanding way of featuring their artists and being able to showcase them to the world and as you go through their releases, you are bound to find something you absolutely fall in love with. From acoustic singer-songwriter, Jazz, electronic, dance, orchestral, and so much more, Origin Recordings put together a roster to die for and has more than a handful of releases that have gathered plenty of accolades and awards.
The label's site doesn't only feature the releases but also features information on each individual artist as well and takes you through their playlists, feature tracks, and so much more.
Some of our top-tier favorites include many but especially some of the composers that have done score and soundtrack work for future films.
The soundtracks are released from Origin and it looks like they have a great handle on making sure they're working with solid Talent. They do have a great quantity of releases, but I feel like with these guys, it's more about the quality, and that shows in these artists.
